It is nonetheless a subjective indicator, expressed in terms of the Likert scale, which defines the ratio between the quality of a product – i.e. the ability of a loudspeaker system to meet a series of requisites accepted across the board in the field of professional audio systems – and its price, considering the pertinent market and the average prices of competitor products used for the same specific purpose. In order to evaluate the quality of the various models in the catalogue, the X-Treme team have examined sound performance (SPL, sensitivity, etc...), reliability, ease of maintenance, guarantee, packaging, distribution and the indications of users on how the product could be improved (kaizen). The team came to the conclusion that the price/quality ratio of the majority of X-Treme products is particularly advantageous.
